About Us

I'm Rochelle, owner and manager of Buada Lagoon Swim-Up Bar and Pedicure Salon. It's always been a dream of mine to set up my own business on my home island of Nauru. I've always loved the beauty of Buada Lagoon, and with 4 years experience as a reflexologist, decided to set up the bar and salon on its waters.

Pedicurist and Masseuse

Melanie Jerome Wilkins

Melanie joined the team in October 2022, and has remained a warm and friendly face at the salon since. Trained as a pedicurist, she is available from Wednesday to Friday.

Owner and Manager

Rochelle DuPont Michaels

Rochelle founded the salon in June 2022, and single-handedly operates the business as well as managing her fantastic team. She is also a trained reflexologist, working at the salon every day from Wednesday to Saturday.

Sonya Quavangine Edwards

Our newest member of the team, Sonya joined in April 2023 and uses her talents in the beauty salon as well as being a mixologist at the bar. She works for us from Thursday to Saturday.
